With the CVL Wireless Proof of Delivery Wireless IT solution there is no requirement for an extensive internal IT system to manage and display the incoming PODs. CVL Wireless provides a standard web based viewer that requires only a user password to access. This method is facilitated by key attributes of our patent -pending process for Proof of Delivery.
The POD operating process generates an unique document identifier based on the Truck ID, Time and Date of the document scan. As the document is being scanned by either the mobile or portable unit the scanned document is labeled with this code. Then the document transfers by secure FTP to a central server and placed in a directory, named for the TRUCK ID.
An alternative view can also be optionally provided to the user by integrating delivery status information, in the form of a .csv file that contains date, time, Truck ID, Client ID and Waybill Number. The data in this file is then compared to the unique coding of the PODs and then integrated into the Client ID & Waybill Number Online Display application.
